What age does Little Rebels Childcare Center accept?
We welcome children from 6 weeks old through 4th grade. Our programs include Infant Care (6 weeks to 15 months), Toddler Program (16 to 32 months), Preschool (33 months to Kindergarten), and School-Age Before and After School Care (Kindergarten through 4th Grade).
Is Little Rebels licensed by the state of Minnesota?
Yes. Little Rebels Childcare Center is fully licensed by the Minnesota Department of Human Services and follows all DHS Rule 3 regulations. We maintain proper child-to-teacher ratios, safe sleep standards, health and sanitation protocols, and undergo regular state inspections.
What are your hours of operation?
We are open Monday through Friday, 5:30 AM to 5:30 PM. We are closed on major holidays including New Year’s Eve and Day, Memorial Day, Labor Day, Good Friday, 4th of July, Thanksgiving and the day after, and Christmas Eve and Day. We also close a few days per year for staff training, with 30 days advance notice provided.
How much does childcare cost at Little Rebels?
Tuition varies by age group and schedule. Full-time infant care starts at $255 per week. Toddler care ranges from $180 to $230 per week depending on age. Preschool ranges from $170 to $220 per week. School-age before and after care starts at $160 per week. A non-refundable $60 registration fee and two weeks deposit are required at enrollment. DHS childcare assistance is accepted for eligible families.
Does Little Rebels participate in the USDA Food Program?
Yes! We are proud participants in the USDA Food Program, which means all enrolled children receive healthy, nutritious meals and snacks throughout the day. We believe proper nutrition is fundamental to child development.
What curriculum do you use at Little Rebels?
Start by scheduling a tour of our facility so you can meet our team and see our classrooms. After your tour, submit the $60 registration fee and a two-week deposit to hold your child’s spot. Complete the enrollment paperwork, sign your contract, and select your start date. Full tuition for the first week is due on your child’s first day.
Is DHS childcare assistance accepted?
Yes, we work with families who receive childcare assistance through the Minnesota Department of Human Services. Please note that assistance may not cover the full tuition amount, and families are responsible for the remaining balance. One week’s deposit is still required at enrollment.
